Thank you so much for being here! I am so delighted that you have joined me on my writing journey.

This is where I place pieces of story while working out how to assemble them. The beginnings of this story were penned in a creative writing class over fifteen years ago and I have been adding to them over the years. It has become a patchwork quilt of fragments which I am trying to piece together, or not. Here, I practice various tenses and experiment with different approaches.

This story is about growing up and all that it entails. Friendship, love, loss and longing, figuring out adults and their secrets while trying to find a place in the world. In this case it is Glasgow in the 70’s/80’s. It is fiction woven around real life.

You will also find other writing which is nothing to do with this story and will include travel and memories or sometimes just thoughts. I hope you will find something here which resonates with you.
